Completed Projects
Sails
St Patrickís College, Launceston
900m³ of purpose built shade structure, complete design, supply and install. Two stages were completed.
Initially Access Solutions was required to present various design options which we did in a power point presentation in 3D with photo realistic imaging.
Following this, which assisted the client in both understanding the actual size but also the visual effects, thus clarifying their thought process, a final brief was given and the final design was accepted.
During installation bed rock was encountered at a very shallow level, which was overcome with alterntaive structural details. All the painting was done based upon a grit blast and epoxy primed surface, which gives the best possible longevity of a two pack finish.

Extenzo ceiling - 2000m². Excellent waterproof and aesthetic qualities supplied and installed.
1500m² customised coloured rubber, safety flooring to concourse area - supply only
Due to budget constraints, over .5m needed to be saved. A cement sheet with epoxy coatings was nominated for the ceiling, but due to Extenzo being maintenance free, waterproof and very quick to install, plus saving over $30K Access Solutions were chosed to do the job.
No mechanical fixings were allowed so after some research it was decided to use a special formulation of sikkaflex adhesives. After installation of the track each 50m² panel was installed in about 1 hour, extremely quick.
The result is a maintenance free ceiling that looks fantastic, wrinkle and joint free.

Hunter Douglas 84B linear ceiling, 600m² supply and install.
The architect desired some features in the pool ceiling, which could also be carried over to the adjoining gym area. This was accomplished with a wave effect of gentle curves. Apart from that, insulation and acoustic requirements were such that the Luxalon 84B linear ceiling in Aluminium was chosen as being the best product for the job.
The 160mm gaps provide acoustic benefits and the panels supported the waterproof membrane and R3 bats.
Access Solutions supplied and installed this project, being completed during the winter months, which is significant as one two week period saw it rain every day continually. This job is on the shores of world famous Lake Pedder.
Carrier rails were fabricated off site and pre curved assisting with speed on site, as well as flashings and other accessories.
Foundations
Cradle Mountain & St. Helens
Nearly 3000 anchors were provided for these two projects. Major savings were experienced due to speed, project turn around times and virtually no site disturbances.
Following the brief, Access Solutions provided complete engineering services on site including documentation, site visits and soil evaluation, which for St Helens being an alluvial flood plain contained a lot of the granular sediments and yielded a low capacity for the friction piles used.
Due to the construction program required, certain areas were rolled out at given times, enabling the builder to manage a very smooth construction phase.
Cradle Mountain posed a number of issues, predominantly massive sheets of exposed rock that were overcome by special rock drilling tools, enabling installation of the piles into bedrock.
Access Solutions maintained a site presence for about 3 months.
Louvres
VolksWagon
Luxalon Aerobrise elliptical louvres, which can be fully adjusted, were used as part of the VW national program. Both the 150, 200 and 300 wide louvre blades were used, enhancing the buildings image but also providing a functional canopy with classy slimline curves.
