Kool-Wall is a high-density styrene for rendered, reinforced with fibreglass mesh on the exterior surface set in a resin type compound.
A benefit of our premeshed panel is all the fixings are structural, meaning that the washers embed themselves into the fibreglass mesh externally. This ensures maximum bonding strength to the structural frame, yet because no glue is involved it allows joint articulation, or movement, thus less potential cracking.

This eliminates oxidization issues that raw styrene faces, oxidization reduces the renders ability to adhere. The mesh also eliminates site processes thus quicker project turnarounds are experienced. The major benefit Koolwall offers is a secondary defence system against water ingress, something no other system can offer. This is because we recommend house wrap or foil to be used either in conjunction with a damp proof course in the windows or siliconed into the window frame (ask for our technical detail).

Being thermally stable, unlike FC sheet, it will not crack, thus it has no ongoing maintenance liabilities or defect issues. Its also fire retarded.
Kool-Wall must have a minimum 5mm render, which provides a stronger surface resistance than FC sheet plus eradicates joint show through on sidelight.
Due to its installation speed (being pre-meshed), project turnaround is quicker compared to alternatives, thus offering savings on scaffolding. Being so light, site handling is easy.
Price is very competitive if walling systems are compared equally, including insulation, which is another benefit, because you save on heating bills.
